Urological Associates of Savannah, P.C., a privately owned and operated 14 provider urology specialty practice has an opening for a part-time, Registered CT/X-ray Technologist for it's Savannah location. Requires graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology. Must also: be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), possess CT certification (or eligibility), have current BCLS certification, have at least two years of experience performing digital x-rays and CT scans, and possess strong computer and communication skills.  This is a benefited position with paid vacation and holidays.  No nights or weekends.  No on-call responsibility. General Summary of Duties:

Performs a variety of imaging procedures and is responsible for patient safety protocols.  Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs.  Is also responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing various equipment, media and work areas in the Radiology department area.  Participates in CQI activities.

Education: High school graduate; BS degree preferred; Graduation from an AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology.

Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience under a Board Certified Radiologist

Requirements: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT); Possess CT certification (or eligibility); Certified by the state of Georgia to practice and administer radiation; Current BLS certification
